顏寧志|藝術家、策展人、研究者
活躍於當代藝術、設計、表演、策展與文化研究等領域,擁有十五年以上於台灣與亞洲地區的藝術現場經驗,尤其熟悉亞洲當代視覺藝術的脈絡發展,以及藝術與商業之間的整合發展。長期致力於跨領域創作與策展,持續探索藝術於當代表述中的公共性與能動性。
創作風格鮮明,擅於運用色彩、造型與線條建構具生命感的視覺語彙。其代表系列作品《沒有身體的器官》,以有機性、系統性與身體政治為核心命題,延伸至繪畫、影像、裝置、時尚與表演等多元媒介,呈現出不斷生成的藝術生命體。
策展實踐上,擅長結合視覺敘事與大眾文化議題,強調藝術與社會之間的對話與轉譯。策展風格兼具實驗性與敘事張力,關注跨域整合、公共美學、地方文化與當代亞洲視角,並積極推動藝術與生活、展覽與品牌、創作與社群之間的多重連結。
曾參與多項國內外展覽、藝術博覽會、駐村與跨域合作計畫,並擔任多項文化機構與地方政府藝術專案之主持人。持續以創作為語言、以策展為方法,回應當代文化的脈動,並思考藝術在未來世界中的位置與角色。
Andy Yen|Artist, Curator, Researcher
Active across contemporary art, design, performance, curatorial practice, and cultural research, Andy Yen has over fifteen years of experience working in the art scenes of Taiwan and the broader Asian region. He is particularly versed in the development of contemporary visual art in Asia, with a focus on the integration of art and commerce. His long-standing practice lies in interdisciplinary creation and curation, continually exploring the public role and agency of art in contemporary discourse.
Known for his distinctive visual language, Yen skillfully employs color, form, and line to construct vibrant, life-like aesthetics. His signature series Organs Without Body centers on themes of organic systems, bodily politics, and structural autonomy, expanding across diverse media including painting, video, installation, fashion, and performance to evoke evolving artistic organisms.
In his curatorial work, Yen excels at combining visual storytelling with popular cultural issues, emphasizing the translation and dialogue between art and society. His curatorial style balances experimentation with narrative tension, engaging with themes such as cross-disciplinary integration, public aesthetics, local culture, and contemporary Asian perspectives. He actively fosters connections between art and everyday life, exhibitions and branding, creation and community.
Yen has participated in numerous exhibitions, art fairs, residencies, and interdisciplinary collaborations both in Taiwan and internationally. He has served as lead curator and project director for various cultural institutions and public sector arts initiatives. Through creation as language and curation as methodology, he continues to respond to the shifting currents of contemporary culture while reflecting on the evolving role of art in the future world.
